TITLE:   21^st Century Community Learning Center (HOURS 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm)

              Academic Enrichment Instructional Aide

QUALIFICATIONS:           

1. Prefer classified Employee of Campbell County School District
2. Minimum of High School Diploma
3. Experience in working with children
4. Ability to collaborate with others

REPORTS TO:                    21^st CCLC Project Coordinator

SUPERVISES:                     Students

JOB GOAL:                          Provide high quality educational enhancements through after-school programming                                   

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Demonstrate belief that all students can and will learn
2. Collaborate with 21^st CCLC instructors, school personnel, including teachers, counselors, school nurse, administrator to determine student needs
3. Assist in the design and implementation of engaging and meaningful activities to enhance student learning
4. Promote positive youth development through activities that increase student hope, engagement and well-being
5. Maintain high expectations for instructional practices
6. Complete weekly activity plans and  submit to Project Coordinator
7. Manage daily attendance/participation reports
8. Attend mandatory professional development training as required
9. Oversee the safety of all students served
10. Promote program awareness with all stakeholders
11. Assist in annual program review
12. Assist in the recruitment of sponsorships to create grant sustainability
13. Assist in strategic planning/program improvement work including quarterly implementation and impact checks.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:           

• Employment contingent upon grant allocation
