TITLE: 21st Century Community Learning Center Project Coordinator

 

QUALIFICATIONS:           

  1. Prefer certified or classified employee of Campbell County School District
  2. Experience in coordinating/supervising children’s programs with special attention given to experience with after school care or related child care programs.
  3. Understanding of the components of a successful after school program
  4. Strong oral and written communication skills
  5. Strong knowledge of Kentucky Core Academic Standards

 

REPORTS TO:                    21st CCLC Project Administrator

 

SUPERVISES:                     21st CCLC staff

 

JOB GOAL:                          To coordinate and oversee day to day operations of the 21st CCLC.

                                               

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Supervise day to day operations of 21st Century Community Learning Center
  2. Implement academic standards within center activities, homework sessions and remediation activities
  3. Work to coordinate and collaborate with regular and special education staff within the school
  4. Attend all 21st CCLC Advisory Council Meetings
  5. Plan master schedule of events and submit weekly to Project Administrator
  6. Manage daily attendance/participation reports
  7. Serve as 21st CCLC instructor
  8. Design and implement, coordinate professional development opportunities for staff and parents.
  9. Attend mandatory state and regional meetings as required
  10. Oversee the safety of all students served
  11. Monitor program to ensure grant compliance and program implementation
  12. Promote program awareness with all stakeholders
  13. Weekly reporting to school principal regarding program progress
  14. Assist in annual program review
  15. Assist in the recruitment of sponsorships to create grant sustainability
  16. Assist in strategic planning/program improvement work including quarterly implementation and impact checks.

  

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:           

  • 6 hours per day- Monday through Friday*

                   - M-TH 12:00 - 6:30 & on call until 7:00 pm (Supervising Program)

                   - FRI 8:00 am - 3:30 pm planning & assisting students in classroom

  • 222 Day Contract on classified salary scale
